Mr. Shane started dancing when he was 5 years old. He danced competitively for 13 years and has earned numerous awards in tap, musical theatre, hip hop, jazz, ballet, contemporary and salsa dancing. He has had the pleasure of studying tap under master teachers Juliana Kelly, Daniel Borak and Everett Smith.

Favourite dance highlights include performing on a Royal Caribbean Cruise Ship, attending dance conventions, performing at a Hamilton Tiger Cats game, and competing in several dance-offs at competitions with PDA.

Shane was an assistant teacher at PDA and has continued to be involved as a substitute teacher, volunteer and holding private lessons.

Shane's interests include environmental studies which led him to pursue a degree in Landscape Architecture at the University of Guelph. Having graduated in 2016 Shane is presently completing exams and a professional development program to become a registered landscape architect in Canada.

Shane is glad to be back in Guelph and excited to continue teaching again at PDA this upcoming year.
