Miss Melanie has been dancing since the age of six.  She competed for eleven years winning many medals including overalls for duets and group dances.  She has been trained and has excelled in tap, as well as musical theatre, jazz, lyrical, pointe, and ballet.

She has studied with Jillan Meyers, Carolina Castellino, Kelly Konno, Lisa LaTouche and Paul Gordon.

Miss Melanie achieved outstanding marks on her ADAPT tap and jazz exams and had the pleasure of having performed on three "Stars At Sea" shows on the Royal Caribbean cruise ships; Explorer of the Seas and Mariner of the Seas.

Miss Melanie won a Biotechnology Award in Grade 11 and this encouraged her to pursue a Bachelor of Science Degree in Wildlife Biology at the University of Guelph. She graduated in the Spring of 2011 from the University of Guelph with a Baccalaureate of Science in Wildlife Biology. She is now studying at Seneca College to become a Veterinary Technician. Her hope is to one day merge her wildlife experience with her vet tech experience to help with wildlife conservation efforts.

Miss Melanie would like to offer a heartfelt welcome to all students; new and returning. Here's to the best year yet at PDA!
