Megan is excited to be a Teacher at Performance Dance Academy!  She has been dancing since the age of three and has loved every minute of it.  Megan has had intensive training in Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Lyrical, Modern, and Musical Theatre as well as competed with the PDA Competitive Company.

Competitive dance has opened several doors for Megan including competing in the Miss Dance Canada Pageant, dancing with Canada’s Ballet Jorgen, and dancing next to big names such as So You Think you can Dance’s Jordan Clark.  Megan has also had the opportunity to take multiple master classes with teachers such as X-Factor’sBrian Freidman and So You Think You Can Dance’s Tyce Diorio.

 Last Year Megan was selected to attend York University's highly recognized dance program, where she trained under some of the top teachers in Canada, studying anatomy related to dance, dance history and many pedagogical theories and practices that she is excited to put to use in her classes. She knows that her studies in PSYCHOLOGY and HUMAN DEVELOPMENT at the UNIVERSITY OF GUELPH will help her better understand the needs of her students. She is currently working on becoming a member of the ROYAL ACADEMY OF DANCE.

Megan’s love of dance blossomed into a love of performing.  Some theatre credits include Mary in The Secret Garden (Theatre Guelph)Chip in Beauty and the Beast (R.C.M.P.I), Veruca Salt in Willy Wonka (R.C.M.P.I) , dancing in The Sound of Music, White Christmas, and  Singing in the Rain. You can also catch Megan in several TV Commercials, short Films and TV shows; most recently she has appeared on CTV’s REIGN and the History Channel’s REVELATIONS.


This Summer Miss. Megan had the opportunity to run dance camps and absolutely loved working with all the children and getting them excited about dance and being active!


Megan is so excited to be able to teach because it is something she has dreamed about since she took her first ballet class.  Megan loves children and is happy she can combine the two things she is passionate about!  She hopes she can spread her love of dance to all her students and hope they find that indescribable feeling she gets when she performs.  Megan is PDA Proud to be a part of the amazing Teaching Staff.
