MISS LINNEA WHITE

 

Miss Linnea was born and raised Ontario, and has been a member of the entertainment industry since the age of three. Her technical and competitive training was completed at Performance Dance Academy where she trained in Tap, Ballet, Jazz, Pointe, Lyrical, Musical Theatre, Hip Hop, Contemporary and Acro winning too many Special, First Place and Overall Awards to list here! 

 

In 2011 she received Gold With Distinction, the highest grade, on her Level 8 American Academy of Ballet Examination. 

 

Among her many proud achievements are Scholarships for a Summer in Los Angeles Dance Intensive and a Pulse Convention Scholarship. As a performer, she has danced for the City of Guelph and has performed for a crowd of over 6000+ people at We Day. 

 

She is currently studying Business Management and Political Science at Wilfrid Laurier University where she performs and choreographs for the Wilfrid Laurier Competitive Dance Team. She continues to follow her passion for dance and teaching and has now been an instructor for over 6 years and has been recognized for her innovative choreography at the competitive level. She also works for Terpsichore Dance Celebration and Digital Dance as a competition photographer.

 

 

Her students have received many titles and scholarships from well-respected dance organizations across Ontario. Her main focus is to develop dancers technique while creating a fun, safe environment for dancers to express themselves artistically and develop their confidence both on and off the stage. 

Miss Linnea is so excited to return to Performance Dance Academy and teach Jazz and Ballet in the 2016/2017 season!
