Kimberley has completed over 26 years of dance training and teaching experience in the GTA.  She has a broad background in various disciplines including ballet, tap, jazz, acro, lyrical, musical theatre, and hip hop. Kimberley gained her qualifications through B.A.T.D where she received her membership with honours and has also completed many of her R.A.D. ballet vocational exams.

 

 

She has competed and performed internationally, winning many awards and scholarships throughout Canada and the United States. Kimberley also has an honours degree in Kinesiology from the University of Western Ontario and has completed her Bachelor of Education (Primary/Junior division) at the Ontario Institute of Studies in Education at the University of Toronto.

 

Kimberley enjoys attending classes and workshops in Toronto, London and New York to continue to learn and expand her knowledge of dance. She has worked with many big names in the dance industry such as Tyce Diorio, Wade Robson, Chris Judd, Tessandra Chavez, Stacy Tookey, and Brian Friedman as well as attends yearly teacher workshops at The National Ballet of Canada and other dance organization to continue her learning for her students. 

 

The past 10 years she has taught in the GTA and Southwestern Ontario, winning many overall awards for her choreography while instilling her love of dance within her students. Her students have won many prestigious awards, scholarships, and overall titles as well as her dancers/choreography has won the Dance Off winning the Valerie Copeland Memorial Award at Northern Stars Dance Competition for five consecutive years!!!

 

While attending university in London, she was a member of the 21-time National Champion University of Western Ontario cheerleading team and was also the Core Team Captain of UWO Dance Force, Western’s dance team.  She has been a performer for the Ohm, Infusion, and Caisa charity fashion shows, the London Knights, Ontario Summer Games, Durham Board of Education, and Sears Sesame Street Live.

 

Kimberley loves teaching at PDA can’t wait for the start of another fun, exciting, and successful year!
