Miss Emily, PDA Guelph's first registered student, is PDA Proud to be in her fourteenth year with PDA!
Miss Emily began dancing at the age three before joining the PDA Proud family in September 2004 studying ballet and jazz. She was also a senior competitive team member. In September 2005, Miss Emily began assistant teaching the Pre-dance programs at the studio and has since gone on to assist dancers of all ages before becoming a teacher herself 6 years ago.
Since joining PDA, Miss Emily has studied ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, lyrical, acro and musical theatre. She has her Level 10 American Academy of Ballet Certificate and is certified through the Acrobatic Arts Association to teach Primary through Level 5 Acro.

Miss Emily has danced in many talent shows and benefit shows. She was involved in her high school's dance club program, Dance Inc., for whom she has done choreography for their annual shows. In 2013-2014 she was on the Dance Inc. Senior Executive committee and choreographed for the competitive team at the high school as well.

Currently, Miss Emily is attending Wilfrid Laurier University pursuing her Bachelor of Arts and Nipissing University pursuing her Bachelor of Education for Primary and Junior grades with a French Teaching Option at the same time.

Miss Emily will be teaching Summer Dance Camps in July and August and Pre-Dance, Ballet, Tap, Jazz, Acro, and Mini Competitive Programs on Saturdays beginning September 2017 through May 2018.
We are thrilled that she will be teaching again this year, as are all the children who know her from her years of teaching and summer dance camps.
